School Disco
The school disco is a popular event open to all pupils from Reception up. It is normally held just before the school breaks for the Easter holidays. There are 3 sessions, split by year group.
A tuck shop operates for the discos for the older children and the upper school hall is decorated.
The disco is run by PTA parent volunteers. The only qualification you need is knowing how to do the "Pizza Hut Song" dance!

The last disco event was on Tuesday 27 March 2012. Each of the 3 discos were a great success, attended by hundreds of pupils in total.
Here's an extract from the Wessex Weekly newsletter about the event:
On Tuesday afternoon, all the children thoroughly enjoyed the PTA discos. They had a fun-filled and exhausting afternoon, supplied with lots of refreshments and more Maccarenas than you can throw a stick at! The children were perfectly behaved and the event raised a fantastic £550 for the PTA. Another successful event, greatly appreciated by all and thoroughly enjoyed. Many thanks to the PTA ladies for their continued efforts, to DJ Brian Clarke for his momentous mix and to the members of staff who were able to stay to support the children.
Well done and many thanks to everyone involved!
