Camping at Wessex returns this year! Brush off your tent for the event on Saturday 14 July.

Our first Camping at Wessex event on Saturday 9th July 2011 was a great success.

Around 50 families pitched their tents on the school playing field.  They were fed and watered by the PTA BBQ and bar.

Camping equipment included a large teepee and even a smart campervan. There was quite a bit of "tent envy" going on!

Here's a shot of just part of the field during the afternoon. We were blessed with dry and warm weather.

Mr Stevens, our headmaster, joined in the fun and stayed in a tent of his own. And the atmosphere throughout was friendly and fun.

We made a good profit for the school. Don't forget the money made at this and all PTA events goes to improve your child's school life.

Thank you for coming along and supporting this great event. And thank you to the PTA Committee who worked so hard to stage the event.
