Our school uniform is very important and we insist that the children come to school looking smart and wearing the appropriate clothing. We ask that children wear uniform in order to engender a sense of team-spirit and to deter the competitive element of wearing a certain style, type or make of clothing.

The school uniform consists of:

  • Yellow / White polo shirt
  • Grey school sweatshirt or cardigan
  • Grey skirt (girls)
  • Grey 'school type' trousers (girls or boys)
  • Yellow/white check/stripe dresses (girls - Summer)
  • Grey, tailored shorts (girls or boys - Summer)
  • Grey / White socks
  • Sweatshirts, polo shirts, PE T-shirts, art aprons, book bags and drawstring bags in which to keep the PE kit are available from the school office.
  • Children in the Nursery should wear a Wessex Nursery sweatshirt, also available from the school office.
  • Children should wear sensible, dark shoes, not trainers, in school.
  • Children also need white shorts for PE and plimsolls or trainers for PE outside, though they work in bare feet for indoor PE.
  • We do request that all belongings are clearly named so that they can be returned if lost.
