Term 2 Nursery

Christmas is a lovely time in Nursery and we like to enjoy it to the full across the whole of the curriculum.

Here we are sorting out the Christmas tree decorations and talking about all of the beautiful colours. We really enjoy playing in Santa’s house. The furry rug makes it a cosy place to share a book, write a letter to Santa or simply pretend to be a Christmas elf!

Grace’s mummy kindly offered to make minced pies with us-they smelt and tasted delicious.

In Nursery we have learnt all about the Nativity story and we enjoy acting out the story using models of the characters. Lara loves reading Christmas stories.

We have made salt dough decorations to play with in the role play area and know so many new Christmas songs for our own Nativity performance.
