We will be open as planned on Monday, 6th September at the usual time after a very busy Summer break. The re-wire of the lower school and nursery buildings is complete and the staff have worked incredibly hard to get everything back in place and ready for the children. The new building is also well under way, we have a brand new outside area for our Reception children and the new school environmental garden is also starting to look great. On arrival at school, children and parents will be directed to their new classrooms - 'left' for Green and Red classes and 'Right' for all other children, across the Upper School playground. We are really looking forward to the start to the new term and look forward to seeing you all back and ready to learn on Monday!

What an exciting and hectic term 5 we have had. During the first week parents came in to help Green Class with their sketches of plants. They were very detailed.

During Golden Time some of the parents joined in and enjoyed it more than the children!

We have tried to use our reasoning skills to solve mathematical problems and find shapes by using deifferent descriptions.

We have looked in the local environment to find insects in their natural habitats. Jace found a snail on a branch in the garden and a worm behind the pencil bin. Bethannie found a spider on a plant and a ladybird on a leaf. Tyler found a ladybird on some wood. Thankfully they left them outside! Here is a picture of one we have found.

In PE we have tried to improve our ball skills. The children have tried to roll a ball at a target carefully!

The children have enjoyed finding out about the Island of Struay. They have made a map of Struay and written a key. They loved making a collage of Struay and Maidenhead.
