News category: Important Update
Posted by: lbristow

We will be open as planned on Monday, 6th September at the usual time after a very busy Summer break. The re-wire of the lower school and nursery buildings is complete and the staff have worked incredibly hard to get everything back in place and ready for the children. The new building is also well under way, we have a brand new outside area for our Reception children and the new school environmental garden is also starting to look great. On arrival at school, children and parents will be directed to their new classrooms - 'left' for Green and Red classes and 'Right' for all other children, across the Upper School playground. We are really looking forward to the start to the new term and look forward to seeing you all back and ready to learn on Monday!

Term 2

Since our last update, we’ve been really busy! Look through the photos below to see what we’ve been up to!

In Literacy week, we studied A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare. Fairies invaded the school one day and we had lots of fun with writing and drama.

Our African theme continued in Art and we designed and created some super masks using a variety of food stuffs.

We visited a Victorian classroom and went back in time to 1875. Everyone wore Victorian school uniform and Kai even got the cane!

In maths, we have been in the school grounds carrying out a tree survey for Mr Stevens. We measured, took averages and drew graphs to communicate our findings.

We are looking forward to Christmas and wish you all a peaceful holiday.
