Welcome to 3L, or the Lions as we are otherwise known. Everyone has settled really well into life in the upper school and with the help of Trevor (our mascot) we have been learning all about ancient Egypt and how the river Nile was so important.

In Maths we have been looking at number lines and place value and for literacy we are finding out how a setting is so important in a story.

Pop in and say hello to us if you are passing by!

This week we have been looking at rainforests and jungles as part of literacy week. The year 3/4 corridor has suddenly been over run by vines, rivers and scary animals!

Children have written their own version of the Giraffe that can’t dance, created their own Kenning poem and carried out a survey of favourite tropical fruits to be displayed as a bar chart.
