Nursery Archive
We’ve really noticed a change in the weather this week in Nursery. The seeds that we planted in our greenhouse grew so quickly that we were able to pot them up outside on Tuesday, it was rainy and windy but we didn’t mind! It was great getting really messy and we made sure that we washed our hands with soap afterwards. So far we have planted potatoes, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, runner beans, beetroot, radishes, broccoli and onions. We will all enjoy watering them through the spring and summer and of course eating them.
Rhys, Danny and Kyle were brilliant helpers for Mrs Thomas in the garden.
Here are some of the seeds that we have grown in Nursery. Caleb is watering our beautiful spring flowers.
By Wednesday the sun was shining and the children really enjoyed exploring our new all-weather shelter, so far they have been building impressive towers and dens in it. We would all like to say “thank you” to Mr Porter for building it for us.
